Calvert hosts and our members serve at the Food Pantry located on the lower level of the church. The Bread of Life Food Pantry serves approximately 120 families in our community. Eligible clients are welcomed once a month and receive a week's worth of groceries. For more information, click on the link to the Bread of Life Food Pantry on the left column of the page.
Calvert serves children and families in the community with after-school programs. Kids Korner meets Monday evenings for K-3rd graders. Tuesday Club is for 4th-8th graders. When children come in they receive a snack, homework help, and supervised free time. At 4:30 it is time for stories of faith, and group activities. At 5:30 we conclude with a meal together.		Calvert Drama Club Children in 4th-9th grade are invited to join us Wednesday evenings for a Drama Program. The children experience a great opportunity to develop their creative potential working with directors Tor Voller and Eve Schafer. This summer they will be writing the script as well as performing. The show will be Saturday, August 28th in the Calvert sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. Their peformance will be followed with a cookie reception.
